A.M. Obukhov Institute of Atmospheric Physics of Russian Academy of Sciences is one of the leading research centers in the world in the field of atmospheric science.
It was founded by Alexander Obukhov in 1956 to study basic processes in the atmosphere by means of achievements in physics, mechanics and applied mathematics.
The atmosphere is studied by up-to-date experimental, observational, physical, mathematical and computational methods.
